The Ministry of Defense is responsible for the armed forces of the Netherlands and veteran affairs. Defense safeguards what is dear to us, contributing to peace, freedom, and security in the world.
Sustainability plays a significant role in the custom products developed by Loyalty Makers for the Ministry of Defense. Defense aims to reduce its CO2 footprint by continuing to develop in the field of upcycling. With this goal in mind, we have created the label ‘Used to be.’ The name says it all; used Defense clothing is beautifully repurposed!
To kick things off, discarded shirts from the Army have been transformed into stylish cases. Loyalty Makers has these cases produced locally at a social workshop.
